The Indian Academy of Pediatrics (IAP) is committed to the improvement of the health and well being of all children. For this purpose the Academy dedicates its efforts and resources.

This is the official website of IAP's Advisory Committee on Vaccines & Immunization Practices (ACVIP) to provide up-to-date information on vaccination to both general public and heath care professionals. It also includes information for travelers on vaccination.

The site contain information about the latest recommendations by the committee on different vaccines, yearly vaccination schedule, and details including minutes, proceeding, presentations, etc of all the meetings conducted by the committee and its sub-committees.

The site also contains periodic recommendations to Government of India (GOI) on various issues related to constitution of National Immunization Program (NIP) and introduction of a new vaccine in to it NIP.

The site is designed to provide impetus to vaccination drive all over the country and counteract any misinformation campaign against vaccination.
